Happy St. Patrick's Day!
With March upon us, St. Patrick's Day and "luck" of the Irish (and others) is what we thought about this month. What does luck have to do with SFBT? Well, if we shift "luck" to "hopeful" and future-focused, we feel there is a great connection with SFBT and a strength-based stance. When working with long-term problems, clients can get "stuck" and hope is something that we encourage our clients to borrow from us until they can build up their own hopeful store again!
Here is a great article that was written by Insoo Kim Berg and Joel K. Simon. It is a great reminder of how, "Solution-focused therapists are interested in what people do to make their lives better, not in how their diagnoses or their problems limit them." Enjoy!

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy with Long-Term Problems
Thanks to all of our face-to-face and online participants for your continued support and words of encouragement!
We have had such great response from our participants! We love the feedback we receive to continue to grow and develop our workshops to meet your training needs. We wanted to include a testimonial from a recent Solution Talk workshop. Thanks again!
I was thoroughly impressed with the Solution Talk Level 1 and 2 training. I have never attended a more valuable training. This training provided me with a solid understanding of the solution focused orientation and additionally provided me with concrete tools for working with clients. I would recommend this training to anyone who is looking to support clients through empowerment and encouragement.
